Culture and arts are both the ways of life and values that are associated with the natural environment, history, religion, and economic activities of a region. They are growing ever more important as they have been historically the fruits of our society as well as the source of high value-added in combination with today's industry.
Amid the era of culture in the 21st century, Anyang is rapidly adjusting to and paving the way for cultural changes, as part of its the utmost effort to improve the quality of life for the citizens and the future urban competitiveness through culture and arts.
At the very heart of such efforts, Anyang Foundation for Culture and Arts plays a pivotal role in creating “Anyang as a center of culture and arts,” by promoting a whole variety of performances, exhibitions, and cultural projects, expanding opportunities to participate in cultural and artistic activities, and running specialized facilities.
On that basis, we will continue to promote a wide range of projects for citizens to participate, make full efforts to discover and foster local artists, and take forward further work to enhance the artistic values of our city.

Anyang Foundation for Culture and Arts has been carrying out a wide range of cultural and artistic projects in collaboration with Pyeongchon Arts Hall, Anyang Museum, Kimchungup Architecture Museum, Anyang Pavilion, and Anyang Center for Artists, with Anyang Arts Center at the heart. We are striving to create Anyang a smart city of happiness together with our citizens.
We our do our best for the development of culture and arts in Anyang, which will lead the way for changing times. While looking back on the past 100 years and map out the next century, we will move forward a step closer to our citizens to transform Anyang into a city of culture and arts under the lead of our citizens. by means of the following: establishing advanced arts and culture management; paving the way for the local culture that remains close to the lives of our citizens; creating high-class cultural spaces; and enhancing administrative capacity through stable operation of the foundation.
